Thames Path Challenge 2016 · 10 September 2016 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
Tom, Nats, Alexa, Joel, George, Rach, Tomos and myself have decided to take on walking the Thames Path Challenge!!
This is one of the UK's biggest walking challenges, where we will be setting out from Putney Bridge, London early on Saturday, 10th September and walking for 50km next to the Thames.
We chose Tommy's as our nominated charity as it's something that sits very close to one of our team's heart.
In the UK, 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage, stillbirth or premature birth. Often, no one can tell parents why it happened. Their research aims to find out why pregnancy goes wrong and how to stop it happening.
The comforting news is that Tommy's exists to save babies' lives - that is their bottom line. They fund research into the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications that lead to miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, whilst also providing pregnancy health information for parents-to-be.
I'm excited to take on this challenge and being part of a great team to raise money for such a great cause.
I would be very grateful if you would make any donation. Every penny will go to Tommy's and will help to motivate us to keep going during this challenge!
Thank you!
