Hi my name is Jay Hughes and I have been a service user at Positive East (formally The Globe Centre) for many years even before it was called the Globe Centre when we were in Bricklane. I have used many services in those years, Counselling, Acupuncture, Massage, and the wonderful food provided by Nigel and his team. I have also volunteered. I have enjoyed many barbeques over the summer months and been involved in fundraising efforts over the years.
I have decided to do the parachute jump in a further effort to raise much needed funds; I will be jumping from 10,000 feet on the 30 July 2011 in Peterborough.
Please sponsor me and help Positive East to continue supporting individuals and communities affected by HIV. This is how your donation will make a difference:
£5 will provide emergency telephone support for people living in distress.
£10 will give two people free, fast, and confidential HIV tests.
£30 will enable us to provide a dedicated specialist advice session to individuals affected by HIV.
