Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have chosen to swim the length of the English Channel. It will be a huge challenge , but I believe it is worth it to be able to provide Diabetes UK with the money they need to help others like me! It will take place from Monday 22 February 2016 to Sunday 22 May 2016.

So please dig deep and donate now, they are a good cause, and help a lot of people. Although the diabetes I have (Type 1) isn't that common, the other types are..and yes there are more than 2 types! Visit their website to find out what they have done, and how they really do help everyone.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
