Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Why?  Another year older and I felt it was time to set myself a challenge. I've never been a great lover of exercise so I decided a walk was probably for me, albeit a very hilly and long one!  However, since starting my training program I have really started to enjoy the fresh air and discovering new places that are not seen from the comfort of a car! 

Another reason is to raise money for a charity close to my families heart - Macmillan.  I lost my lovely father-in-law, Mick, to cancer in May 2013  - he is dearly missed by all the family.

The Challenge:  a trek from the ancient site of Stonehenge to the stone circles of Avebury - 26.2 miles.
