Hi Everyone

I know it's taken me a little while but just wanted to write a very big thank you to everyone who sponsored me to run the London Marathon!! 

I ran it in 4 hours and 14 minutes and it was amazing - even though there were times, namely about 18 miles, and then again about 22 miles, when I felt decidedly rough!!  The crowds and atmosphere was unbelievable and for the first 17 miles I just smiled and ran!!

Even finding it hard at times did not detract from the amazing sense of occasion and achievement.  I actually met a fellow 'Kith and Kids' runner on the way round which was great!!

Crossing the finishing line was almost surreal - just couldn't believe I'd run 26.2 miles, and what a famous 26.2 miles!!

I've decided that I'd like to do it again one day... just so that I might have it in me to sprint that last couple of hundred metres to the finish line (something I had dreamed of doing but sadly didn't accomplish it on the day!) :)
