Well folks Zip day has arrived and at 2:30 this afternoon I'll be zipping down the wire off the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle and landing safely (fingers crossed) at the Quayside in Gateshead. Sincere thanks to everyone who has sponsored me! Let's hope the rain holds off.
I have just watched the North East news and saw Bear Grylls take the Olympic torch down the same zip wire that I'm doing tomorrow in aid of charity. OMH it looks even scarier from the top of the bridge - I hope I don’t scream to loudly tomorrow!
