My story

In times of austerity, it is very easy to forget those who have less than that which we take for granted everyday. For individuals in Nepal, oral health is probably a luxury only afforded by the few.

Therefore, as part of my New Year’s resolution, I am involve with this project to raise funds to support the work of Dentaid, a charity with a mission to improve the oral health of disadvantaged communities around the world. I will also be heading to Nepal to assist Dentaid in one of their projects in April this year.

Following encouragement from my colleagues at the Eastman Dental Hospital, Lisa Robson (the one who set this project in motion), Doreen Matthew and Jackie Jackson, we raised close to £800 through very successful cake sale, summer fete and quiz night at the hospital.

But I need your support now. In order to achieve a personal target of £2500 for the charity, I have set up this webpage to make it easier for you to be involve and support this project.

To make this interesting, I am making a pledge to equal your donation (including my gift aid amount). So, please support Dentaid.
