In February this year Johanna, our eldest daughter, was diagnosed with an astrocytoma brain tumour. She has had brain surgery and has recently finished a 6 week course of radiotherapy at Clatterbridge. She remains incredibly positive and is determined to beat it. Brian and I are running the Great North Run on 18th September to raise money for Astro Fund, the only charity devoted to research into Low Grade Gliomas. We hope to raise as much as possible for this charity so that Jo and others stand the best chance of benefitting from current research projects. Please give generously and thank you for your support.
