Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

RACE DATE: 29th SEPTEMBER 2013.

Now that I have caught my breath and can nearly feel my legs again, I just want to say a very, very sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to this justgiving web page. I may never run another distance race again, but this experience is one that I shall always remember. A very special thank you goes out to my colleague and friend, Amanda Wheal, who stepped in with only a few weeks to go and offered to help me finish the race. She just about carried me for the last 0.75 miles -  By that point I felt sick, couldn't run straight and had the most incredible pains in my legs. She is the one who reminded me why I signed up to all this in the first place.

I set out to raise £500 for Myeloma UK. Because of each and every donation, that target has been well and truly beaten.

I can't thank you enough!!!
