Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This page has been set up for those wishing to make a donation, rather than send flowers to Jeanette's Funeral on Thursday 6th August 2009. As mum died of ovarian cancer it seemed only right that donations should be to a specialist charity that deals specifically with that sort of cancer.
The Eve Foundation can be found using this link http://tempuri.org/tempuri.html
Every year a million women worldwide are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer.
This figure is just 200,000 fewer than the number of women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, yet the breast cancer five year survival rate in the UK is 80% compared with under 35% of women who survive ovarian cancer for more than five years. The Eve Appeal is determined to improve these grim statistics by funding vital research that will help save women's lives not only in the UK but throughout the world, but we need your support.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Many thanks from the Burgman Family
