Well, it's not really me you are supporting. It is the young people the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust  will be able to work with as a result of the money you donate.

I am really interested in the Trusts 'Get On Track' scheme. Get On Track provides stepping stones for vulnarable young people to volunteering, work placements and employment opportunities. The DKH Legacy Trust will help them to get their lives on track through the support of their elite sport mentors.

 

The 'Get On Track' launch is in my hometown of Liverpool at the end of October and i am sure it will be a great event, it is a pleasure to support such a well respected charity that is doing brilliant work where i grew up.

maybe with a lot of donations they will be able to hold an event in Hertfordshire?! Why not!

 

I have alrerady seen firsthand the great work that the charity does. Two students from my school visited the DKH Legacy Trust offices in london recently and were staggered at the work the Trust does to help young people up and down the country.

 

So please help the Trust out as i run the 10 miles in Portsmouth on Sunday 25th October!
