Well I am really pleased and proud to say that I and the majority of the riders completed the challenge. You will know the weather was awful (torrential rain and temperatures close to freezing all week) and made it more difficult but the team spirit was the best I have known in my life and that alone was enough to get the job done. I have made some great friends for life and had wonderful support from all those who have took the time to dig deep and support the cause. If you can, please watch some highlights on the sport relief weekend 19-21 March on the BBC, thanks again to all of you who sponsored me and I have added a few photo's from the challenge, you will see Lol (Lawrence) wore better than me as we made history being the first ever cyclists to ride on to the Eurostar before we continued our ride (it was great to get 45 mins rest).....It was also good of HRH Prince Harry to take the time to welcome us in to Twickenham at the finish. Please do pass the link on to anyone who may wish to sponsor me as we pursue our goal to raise £1m for the causes. Update 8 March 2010

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You will know by now that in February 2010 I will be cycling 442km between Paris and London, over 4 days, across a freezing Northern Europe!

I'll be in great company though, with Lawrence Dallaglio, Wasps, England and Lions rugby legend...

As well as a sprinkling of other sporting celebs, I will be riding with 22 other members of Team Greene King, all of whom he convinced this would be lots of fun!!!

But most importantly it is about why we are doing it. Lawrence has set the challenge of raising over £1m for Sport Relief and The Dallaglio Foundation - and we are trying to help him get to his target. He will be riding 2800km between all the 6 Nations rugby grounds over 24 days and hopefully having our support for 4 days in the saddle will help him along!

The Dallaglio Foundation is supporting 4 fantastic charities as part of the ride:

Help for Heroes: Raising money to help support our wounded servicemen and women

The Professional Rugby Players Association Benevolent Fund: Providing financial support for players who have been forced to retire from the game due to serious injury or illness, and support players’ families in the event of their untimely death.

Debra: The national charity working on behalf of people in the UK with the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Cancer Research UK: Dedicated to beating cancer through research.

The event is being featured by the BBC and Sports Relief, so you will be able to follow the project.

I hope you are able to dig deep and give as much as you can for these great causes.

Many Thanks,

Jeff
