My Dad, George, died on 3rd October 2011 from Meningitis. He fought bravely for more than a month but the damage done in only a few short hours was too great. Meningitis is generally most damaging in the young and the old. My chosen charity is working toward a vaccine. Let's help them find it!

The Great North Run starts in Newcastle on 16th September.
