If you haven't already gathered, this summer I'm going to take part in a group Trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #800080;">The aim of the Trek is to raise ateast&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #800080;">&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color: #e8ecff; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 19px;">&pound;</span><span style="background-color: #e8ecff; font-size: 16px; line-height: 19px;">4000&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #800080;">in sponsorship for<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></span><strong style="color: #339966;">Stepping Stones Nigeria</strong><strong><span style="color: #cc99ff;">. </span></strong><span style="color: #800080;">Stepping Stones is a uk based child rights organisation that works with children in the Niger Delta region of &nbsp;Nigeria. Some of you might remember that there was a <strong>CNN documentary </strong>called <em><strong>Saving Nigeria's Child Witches, </strong></em>which aired last year.&nbsp;The documentary was about&nbsp;children in Akwa-Ibom State who had been tortured and isolated from their communities due to allegations that they were witches or possesed by evil spirits. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #800080;">Well, Stepping Stones is the organization that first shed light on this issue and reported it to the UN and the Nigerian Government as a child rights violation.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #800080;">They do a lot of other good work in the region and have set up a school and opharnage that take in children who have been victims of similar abandonment or abuse.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #800080;">It's a really good &nbsp;cause!
