Dawlish Triathlon · 28 September 2014

Every year we support thousands of children and families right across the country. We provide rehabilitation to help children make the best recovery possible after a serious accident or illness, both at our national specialist centre in Tadworth and in the community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you already know that the past 12 months have been some of the hardest for my friends family.  On the 5th October last year their 3 year old son Henry contracted two types of Ecoli and a disease called HUS which attacks our kidneys, stomach and brain.

Henry was admitted to Bristol Children's Hospital on the 11th October 2013 and was in a coma for 6 weeks.  Nearly nine months later there has been some improvement and he has recently been moved to www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk neuro rehab centre which is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injuries.  Henry has now started a rehabilitation programme to prepare him and his family to return home later this year.

On  September 28th we will be doing the Dawlish Sprint Triathlon to raise money for Henry at the Children's Trust.  So please dig deep and sponsor us.  Every penny helps and your donation will not only help Henry but children across the UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
