Many people live with mental health concerns and suffer in silence as this is still such a taboo subject. I’m running to raise awareness and funds for mental health uk. It’s ok to say I’m not ok.
Prior to siging up to the run I couldn’t run to the phone. I’ve been training for the past 5 months and I’m hoping to complete then run as close to the hour as I can get.
I’ve lived with anxiety for the past 2 years and since I’ve taken up running my anxiety levels have dropped. I still have days where anxiety overcomes me but exercise really does help and now thanks to being talked into this running will now remain part of my life.
Thanks for visiting my page and reading my story. I’m sure many people live with mental health in silence. Let’s remember there is help available and it’s ok to not be ok.
