To those of you that know me well, you'll know about the time I spend in India with the street children and for those that don't know much about what I do out there, check out this link that featured in Fabulous magazine last year http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/fabulous/features/528371/el-shaddai.html
I haven't done any fund raising for a few years now and the last time I did, it was successful enough to help build a classroom at the school that was built for the street children. So the time has come again for me to ask for your help to raise some more money.
Not all of the children cared for by the charity are orphans. During the month of May most of the children in full time care return to spend time with their families for a month, leaving the orphans to remain in the homes. So this May I plan on visiting the children left in the homes and taking them on a special trip to Bangalore to spend a week of fun visiting many different places along the way there will be approximately 30-40 children on this trip and the money I raise will be paying for their transport and accommodation for the week.
The money will pay for this trip and if I raise any extra I will put it towards another good cause for the children. Many of you ask me whether you can donate money and this would be the perfect opportunity. For those of you that do donate I will ensure that I take many photos of the trip and send them to you on my return.
These children have become very special to me over the years and I know how much this particular trip will mean to the ones going.
