Story

Thank you for visiting our Shine fundraising page in support of bowel cancer research. Please dig deep and sponsor us – it’s quick, easy and totally secure.

Bowel cancer came into our lives in September 2012, when at the age of 43 my mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer.

Me and Mum want to raise awareness that this particular cancer does not just affect the over 60's, it can happen to anyone.

We want to raise as much money as possible, £677 could fund one person on a clinical trial to see if chemotherapy before and after surgery, combined with a new drug Vectibix, can save more lives from bowel cancer.

Every pound you donate really does make a difference towards the work into diagnosing and treating bowel cancer – so please sponsor us now!

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Thank you so much for your support.
