Dear All,
We (the Reece twins!) have decided in aid of St Christopher's Hospice and in loving memory of our mom, to take the leap and participate in a Tandem Skydive.
St Christopher's is an amazing charity, which is close to our hearts. When our family was in need of care, love and support they were there to help, now we would like to help give them the chance to carry on doing what they do best for many other families.
Why a skydive you ask? For those of you who met our mom you would have been aware of her amazing sense of humor and her love for all things new and exciting. Therefore, we feel that there is no better way of honouring her than flying to 10,000ft and jumping into mid-air (eyes open or shut!).
It costs St Christopher's over £11 million (www.stchristophers.org.uk) to keep its doors open annually, £7 million of this is raised solely through public donations. The service they provide is priceless to patients and their families and we can't think of a better reason than this to take the plunge!
