I was born with three haemangiomas (strawberry naevus') and have had many steroid injections, operations and laser treatments to remove them. My back and nose naevus' were removed when I was 4 years old and the haemangioma in my cheek removed by liposuction 2 years ago. The consultant I had is now using my photos and records to support other parents whose children have haemangiomas and show them the success of the treatment.

This charity means a lot as they give support to the patient, parents and family members as well as raising awareness and educating pupils and teachers within schools. They aid the research into the cause of the many types of birthmarks along with the potential cures, treatments and possible complications.
