I didn't realise how competitive I was until August when my colleagues were talking about the marathon and I got all excited and registered. After registering I was contacted by a few of the charities to get a confirmed place - one of which was Leukemia Care.

My dad lost a son who was just 13 when he passed away from the cancer. I want to do this for him really - to raise awareness of the cancer, to raise money for the important work the charity is doing and of course for my family.

Any donation big or small would be amazing - I'll run with you all in my head pushing me on... around the miles and miles and miles you have to run (ahhhh!).
