My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This page has been set up following an accident involving a close freind of ours- at Christmas time he was involved in a car crash in which he broke his neck, leaving him paralysed. Although this has been awful for all involved, it has inspired us to do somethig to help others who face similar situations. "Spinal Research" aim to eventually find a cure for the impact of such injuries. £25 donated funds one hour of research, taking us one hour closer to such a solution.
This page is only a small part of our fundraising- we aim to raise £10,000 overall through a variety of Fundraising activities including leg waxing, a ceilidh sponsored hair cutting, selling wristbands and much much more!
Please give generously!!!

My charity
Spinal Research
Charity Registration No. 281325
Spinal Research is a pioneering charity. Its aim is to find ways to repair spinal cord injury and reverse the paralysis that results from it. Based in the UK and recognised as a leader in its field, Spinal Research funds groundbreaking projects at scientific and medical institutions around the world. The next landmark is the launch of clinical trials with paralysed volunteers. These trials will test innovative treatments that could repair damage in the human spinal cord, and so restore sensation and movement.
