Unfortunately there have been a large number of people in my life struck down by cancer from neighbours,  friends and family and of all age, from 4-93. For that reason this cause means a lot to me as im sure it does for many of you.

Taking part in this race is also a huge achievement for me- I couldn't run 5minutes let alone 5km. I want to thank my mates who have been helping make my goal of running the 5km a reality,  and by doing so I hope I manage, with my sponsorship,  help in the fight against cancer.
