Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Last year I did a shorter walk to raise funds for AVI and this year funds are even more in demand.   I am doing a 10 mile walk round Balcome next Saturday (18th July) and want to see how much I can raise for Action Village India.  This is part of AVI's 'Walk for Women' programme which seeks to provide funds for projects that actively promote women's/girls' health, education and economic projects. I know times are tough economically at the moment but just remember that what seems a little amount over here goes a long way in India: £20 provides schooling for one girl for the year; £10 provides a new born baby health kit . etc.
