Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and a team of Fiona's friends and family have chosen to take on the three peaks challenge! For those of you who didn't have the pleasure of meeting Fiona, she was an fun and adventurous friend, who very sadly passed away from cancer of the bile duct last December, at the age of 26.

The  donations raised from the challenge will be split between The Christie and Macmillan, who provided her with amazing care and compassion during the illness.

The 'challenge' includes climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scaffell pike) and Wales (Snowdon) in 24 hours. It includes 42km of walking, a total ascend of 9,800 feet (3,000 m) and is not to be taken likely!

Hopefully, I'll have more success in completing the peaks than we did on mine and Fiona’s last hill climb... we climbed the wrong hill, to be left with a rear view of the castle (we were supposed to be in) with a gorge inbetween us! Luckily, my dad has kitted me out with GPS ordnance survey maps for this climb!
