Many of my friends and family have been affected by cancer and I thought it was time for me to do my bit.

Ovarian cancer is such a difficult cancer to diagnose and treat. There is so much to do in relation to beating this cancer.

I decided to run every day this year to keep myself fit and healthy, and to remind myself how lucky I am that I can.

I am choosing to pray for a dear friend who has a personal battle every day as I run. If anyone can beat this wretched illness, she can.
