My close friend has a wonderful daughter Lydia who is 11 years old

She was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia. I really didn't know anything substantial about Leukaemia and I certainly didn't realise how devastating Leukaemia can be. The more I have learnt about leukaemia the more I realise the enormous strides that have been made in research to fight leukaemia. There is now a high percentage chance of full recovery for certain types of Leukaemia for children but the need for research has to continue

I wanted to do 'something' to raise money. I hate heights but sometimes you have to move out your comfort zone and do something that counts!

On Sunday 28th April I am jumping out of an aeroplane with my son Thomas. It will be 12000 feet up! My stomach has just rolled at the very thought!

If you can donate any money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, however small, all will be appreciated!
