I cannot believe that it is only 4 days away from the biggest run of my entire life.  Well what a couple of weeks I ve had.  My daughter Kitty has been stuck out in Spain with friends after the whole volcanic ash iss...... we have had tears and tantrums and more tears because she wasnt going to be here to watch her mum run the marathon on of all days Kittys 14th birthday.  I have felt down with the thought of her not being there. However, today things look different I managed to purchase her a flight and even though its a bit of zigzagging over Europe with fingers crossed and prayers being said she should be here before the weekend..

Then I can start really worrying..registered today at excel and am amazed at the ease and speed at which the whole thing is done.  Not one complaint.. Thanks once again for all your hard earned sponsorship, I really do appreciate it. Its going to be warm on Sunday which isnt the best weather for us but great for you lot watching.

Please god I make it back in one piece and we can raise a glass or two to celebrate.

Well nearly there now. Have decided I wish there was another month training as I havent really reached the goal I was hoping to at this stage.  Still lots of miles have gone under the belt and my knee has only started to give me trouble today, which is a bummer......16 miles completed and feeling as old as the hills. I hope the crowds are as good as everyone says cos I;m not quite sure where Im going to get that extra 10 miles from.
