Many of us care about how we look to a certain extent. We have all at some point cared about the most minor details on our faces - spots, wrinkles, eyelashes.. you name it - but these children cannot even smile, eat or speak like everyone else..
More than one child in every 600 is born with or sustains a severe disability affecting their face.
'Our faces, our expressions are the means by which we communicate to our fellow human beings. It is a great cruelty to have this taken away either by disease or accident.'
