After battling through Depression I've come out the other side and have decided that now is the time to reward all that mental effort with the physical equivalent.  On June 27, 2010, I'm going to attempt the Harbour Capital Half Marathon in Wellington, New Zealand.

Any donations will go to The Helen Foundation - www.thehelenfoundation.org.uk - to support and benefit young people in all branches of the arts, particularly those who are lacking financial support.  I chose this charity because  I almost lost my life in a car accident at the age of 19 and my recovery was greatly assisted by my passion for the arts. I admire the way the Kirk family are pro-actively honouring the memory of their daughter and sister.

So I hope you join me in my progress towards the Half Marathon.  My training starts today.
