I know a beautiful girl called Bethan who suffers from a condition called Hydrocephalus, abuildup of fluid inside the skull that leads to brain swelling.  Bethan has a shunt inserted which may need to be replaced at different times in her life.  Every day her family wonder whether today will be the day it doesn’t operate particularly well.  There is no cure, but it can be managed through surgery.

We also know a beautiful little boy called Lucas who suffers from the same condition.  He is younger than Bethan and a little fighter.

Starlight brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by granting them once-in-a-lifetime wishes and providing entertainment for children in hospitals and hospices throughout the United Kingdom.

So please support me in supporting Starlight and help children like Bethan and Lucas to be distracted from the pain they endure.

The triathlon will involve a 400m Swim, a 24k Bike ride and a 5k Run.
