Coeliac Awareness Week Walk · 5 May 2013

1 in 100 people have coeliac disease, yet only 36% are diagnosed. Coeliac UK empowers everyone affected, breaking down barriers, improving everyday life, offering trusted support and advancing research towards a cure. And we do it all so that one day, no one’s life will be limited by gluten.

Story

Hello, 

Nicola Baldwin and Jenny Baldwin are walking 12 miles across Whitby to raise money for Coeliac UK on the 18th of May. 

Coeliac disease is an intolerance of wheat, oats, rye and barley. It can cause damage in the intestines and long term health problems.

Coeliac UK offer support and advice to suffers as well as financially aiding research on the intolerance.   

Jenny has coeliac disease and is extremely grateful for all Coeliac UK have done for her in relation to her condition which is why we are determind to raise £200!
