Story
22nd September
Well been there done it, got the T shirt, medal and the shiney blanket...... took slightly than I'd hoped at 2 hours 37 minutes but am blaming the heat! Was slightly encouraged when I considered that 22000 people took longer than me and am trying not to dwell on the fact that 32000 finished in front of me! Most proud of the fact that you have all donated over £800 (including gift aid). Thank you all so very much

Its 5 years since I did the North Run last time and you could say its taken me five years to recover!!!!!. The Joshua Tree is a really worth while charity whose aim is to develop a holiday house and support centre in Cheshire, where children with a life threatening illness can come with their families.More details can be found at this link www.thejoshuatree.org.uk
17th August - Thank you all so much for your donations so far, its great to know I've got such supportive friends but slightly worrying that they think it will be easier for me to do the run than it will be to give up drink!!! xxxxx
3rd September, thanks to Mandy, Phil,Emma, Jo & Ian for their offline donations. Training is going well slightly worried that due to a range of injuries, including stress fractures and pneumonia, of the 4 people I was running with there's now only me left! That could mean I'm in with a chance of winning....or at least finishing in the top 40,000!!!! xxxxxx
15th September - Thanks Mo & the Devaneys for offline donation you've helped to push me over the £500 mark which is brill...... Good run on saturday 9 miles but my knees are decidely dodgey the good news is my liver has never been healthier.....X
