I know it's last-minute, but my son Reuben and I have chosen to run this year's Great North Run for the Young Minds Trust.

It is a charity nominated by my very dear friend, a caring, loving mother whose beautiful, talented, sparkling, funny daughter Sara committed suicide last year. Fundraising in Sara's memory will hopefully help Young Minds support other children and young adults in similar situations and prevent such tragedies happening in the future. The run is now only 3 days away, but even the smallest donation from each of you will make a huge difference.
