My story

 

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I know it's last-minute, but my son Reuben and I have chosen to run this year's Great North Run for the Young Minds Trust.

It is a charity nominated by my very dear friend, a caring, loving mother whose beautiful, talented, sparkling, funny daughter Sara committed suicide last year. Fundraising in Sara's memory will hopefully help Young Minds support other children and young adults in similar situations and prevent such tragedies happening in the future. The run is now only 3 days away, but even the smallest donation from each of you will make a huge difference.

Young Minds is the UK's leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people and empowering their parents and carers. By donating even as little as £1 you will be helping them in their valuable work to raise the profile of emotional and mental illnesses in young people and launch their anti-stigma campaign to make support more readily available to those in desperate need of help.
