<p>Hi everyone!</p> <p>As most of you know I am currently in Guatemala volunteering with GVI on the Phoenix Project. I am teaching at a wonderful school in Santa Maria which is a community half an hour away from Antigua. The kids here are AMAZING and certainly an inspiration!</p> <p>On the 19th of March I will be embarking on a 3 day challenge to raise money for the kids!!</p> <p>The challenge will take place at Lake Atilan which is 2 and a half hours from Guatemala city. I will be climbing a volcano called San Pedro. It sits 3000 meters over sea level. Its going to be a very tough climb to the top!! I will also be kayaking for a full day!</p> <p>The money raised will be going directly to providing food and fresh fruit &nbsp;at the school. The bread and fruit we give them each day gives them the nutrition they need to grow and develop. For some of the children, this is the only food they get all day so they really cant do without it!&nbsp;</p> <p>I am doing this challenge because the kids here have really changed my life and because the project means so much to me - I want to do whatever I can to support it!</p> <p>So please dig deep and donate now to this fantastic cause!!
