I'm finally running the London Marathon!!  I'm really excited to be raising money for Addaction again because as many of you know this is a charity that I can relate with and is very close to my heart.  Both of my parents were alcoholics and sadly my Dad was taken away far too young from which alcohol addiction played a major part in.   I understand now that addiction is a disease and with the support of a charity like addaction there is the hope of beating it.  Addaction not only helps the addicts,but just as importantly they offer help to their families.  I've seen first hand how alcohol and drugs ruin peoples lives, the addiction takes over and nothing else matters - not even their kids. If I can help just one little girl understand why her Dad drinks at every opportunity, or help that Dad to beat his addiction then putting myself through this will all be worth it. 

So the time has nearly come, with only a week to go the nerves are def kicking in!  I have trained really hard over the last 6 months.  I've had a few set backs with injuries, but luckily nothing to serious and although I don't feel quite as prepared as Id hoped, I will still be lining up with the other 30 odd thousand people next Sunday to run that 42km and get that medal I have wanted for so long!  

I have cleaned, done raffles, constantly bugged my friends, sung, and even gone as far as eating jellied eel to raise money for this amazing charity!  

Any support you can give me would be amazing and I would appreciate it more than you know!  Your donation really will make a difference to another human being out there that can't quite help themselves.  And it will keep inspiring me and motivating me to get over that finish line!
