<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica;">My lovely friend Louise has two gorgeous boys and very sadly one of them, Max, has been battling leukaemia. I'm extremely glad to say he's showing it who's boss (yay!) but it brought home to me just how devastating a disease it is for those affected and their families. So it was a no-brainer for me to choose to run on behalf of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research in honour of Max when I signed up for the Robin Hood Half Marathon. The fantastic news is that we are soooooo close to making leukaemia and blood cancers a thing of the past, and charities such as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research are a huge factor in this. I also have it on good authority that they're a lovely bunch which is always nice! </p>
