I am undertaking a challenge organised by the Para Troopers. They undergo very rigorous training to become one of the most elite fighting forces in the British Military Service.

Luckily I am only undertaking one small part of what they go through! The challenge is to complete a ten mile run, carrying a 16kg pack, wearing army issue boots and to fulfil the challenge the race should be completed in a time of 1 hour and 50 minutes!

I am competing in the challenge to raise money for Help for Heroes. This is such a worthwhile charity. There are few people that have not been affected or do not know someone who has served in the recent conflicts. They sacrifice so much and achieve so much to bring peace where it is needed most and to keep us safe. It is only when you hear stories first hand that you realise what they have to deal with and even then its hard to comprehend. 

Please help me reach my target, its not a great deal but it will make a difference and it would be great if I didn't go through lots of pain for nothing!! If everyone who comes on here sponsors me just £2 I would definitely reach my target!
