Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the 2012 London Marathon for Bone Cancer Research Trust to show my support for Tom Clarke. Tom was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2008 and, after two and a half years in remission, was told that his cancer had returned in October last year. If putting myself through a few months of pain can help improve the treatment and prognosis for other young people like Tom, it will be well worth it.

Thank you also to anyone who is donating following my Nellie's funeral in January. Nellie dedicated a lot of her time and money in helping various cancer charities and would have been pleased to see her friends and family lending their support to BCRT.

This is going to be a big challenge for me and so any support and encouragement that you can show me will help me along the way.

Hope to see some of you along the route on 22 April 2012!
