<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p>I have been training for many years with a mixed martial arts club known as SPS which stands for the Self Protection System. On 19th March this year, a few months before my 50th birthday, I am grading for my black belt and thought that as I am facing this challenge, I would raise some money for charity at the same time.</p>

<p>The charity I have chosen to raise money for is Jewish Care, but specifically for the Vi & John Rubens Care Home in Gants Hill, Ilford, the Home specialises in nursing and dementia care. This is a cause close to my heart as I would like to raise the money in memory of my close friend's father, Don Ross who recently passed away there and lived there towards the end of his life.</p>
