Story

Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So its big bike ride time again …

Having crossed the UK from South to North last year doing a c.1,600 km Land’s End to John O’Groats charity ride over 10 days, I’m joining the same group of ‘MoneySpinners’ riders to do another big bike ride – this time going from East to West.

Starting on the 4th September I’ll be riding from Lowestoft – the most Easterly point of the British Isles, through England and Wales, and then crossing the Irish Sea and into Ireland riding through to Dingle Peninsula – the most Westerly point of the British Isles.

The ride length this time is c.950 km and I’ll be doing it over a seven day period.

Like last time, I’m riding for two charities : UNICEF (this page) and Macmillan Nurses (the other page I’ve set up).

Both are really great causes. UNICEF works with families, communities and governments in more than 190 countries worldwide to protect and promote the rights of all children. Macmillan improves the lives of people affected by cancer - providing practical, medical and financial support and pushing for better cancer care

Like last year I will be covering my own expenses so everything you donate goes to the charities.

I will be ‘tweeting’ along the way so you’ll be able to follow my progress and my pain by following me on : ‘@jeremynicholds’

So friends please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks

Jeremy
