Back in June of this year, I took part in an 8 day project called 'Project Brazil', alongside my good friend Steve Hayes and 30 other participants. 

The project focused on renovating a school in the Kalungas region of Brazil.  The Adesuita School is the biggest and most important school for the Kalungas region, serving 130 students aged 4-60.   Before we arrived, the school didn’t have sufficient space to attend the needs of the region. So we worked harder than we had ever worked in our lives to build a new classroom, to repair and decorate the existing building and to build outdoor play areas.

The money donated towards this project also goes towards a clinical trial at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Cancer Research UK, which is testing a new drug to treat children with Neuroblastoma.I am aiming to raise a minimum of £3,000 towards this great cause.
