I'm cycling from London to Brighton for the BHF Night Ride in May which is 57 miles. I have been really wanting to cycle this route for a long time and now that I've started training for it i'm not sure if I actually do want to do it anymore but I'll definitely keep up the peddling! It's for a really good cause..and any donations will go to the British Heart Foundation. Heart and circulatory disease is still the biggest single cause of premature death in the UK and two and a half million people are living with it. The BHF aim to dramatically reduce the number of deaths from cardiovascular disease and their work includes researching the causes of heart disease and reducing inequalities in the levels of disease by focussing on communities and locations where the problem is most severe. They definitely rely on donations to make all the work they do possible.
