Jessica Earls Yorkshire Peaks Challenge Page

Yorkshire Peaks Challenge · 18 April 2015
Thank you for visiting my page and having a read of my fundraising activities.
This year is a busy one as i have decided to participate in two fundraising activities! Firstly, at the end of April i will be joining members of the Leeds University Women's Hockey society in order to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. We will be walking the peaks of Yorkshire for 12 hours straight, covering a distance of 24.5 miles!
I am raising money for the fantastic charity "SUDEP ACTION", a charity for epilepsy bereavement which raises awareness and money for epilepsy research and the prevention of epilepsy related deaths. This charity is very close to our hearts and the hockey club are completing this challenge in memory of a beloved past member Emily Sumaria, who passed away from epilepsy in December 2012.
Secondly, in summer i am travelling to Uganda for a month with the charity Leeds Rag to build schools and education facilities for children. The charity i am working with is "Soft Power Education" who aim to improve the quality of life of Ugandan children, through their education system.
In order to raise money for this incredible charity i have (in a spontaneous moment of madness) decided to run the the Leeds Half Marathon on the 10th of May. This will be a particularly challenging experience and all donations would be greatly appreciated.
Both of these charities are very important to me and i hope to raise lots of money to support them! Please dig deep and donate whatever you can. All donations, big and small are greatly appreciated!
