Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In August 2015, I will be completing the Inca Trek in Peru, along with a group of fellow students at Loughborough University. The trail will take us on a journey through the mountains which reach heights of 8,000 feet tall where we will brave the altitude and cold night-time temperatures. The 26 mile route will be a massive challenge but is something I cannot wait to take on in order to raise £3,000 for the Epilepsy Society.

The Epilepsy Society aims to enhance the quality of life of people affected by epilepsy, which currently stands at 1 in 100 people. The charity has a large research centre which seeks to find the causes of epilepsy and improve treatment of the condition. The charity promotes awareness of the condition, and most importantly supports those people with Epilepsy by offering expert medical attention, residential and nursing support, and providing the latest diagnostic tests which can be vital in ensuring someone with the condition receives the best treatment for their needs. The charity helps so many people and I urge you to take a look at their website on the following link to find out more about the work they do and the people they support: http://www.epilepsysociety.org.uk/

As I said  before, I have a fundraising target of £3,000 of which will contribute towards the incredible work the charity does for those people affected by Epilepsy. This large amount of money is enough to run the research centre for an entire week showing just how vital it is to helping the charity.

To reach this target, I will be working hard organising events, running competitions, and arranging many more exciting fundraising activities! However, I still need your support!
