<p>Hi, my name is <strong>Jessica</strong> and I am <strong>29 years old</strong>, last year on August 26th my life changed forever, I was diagnosed with <strong>Multiple Sclerosis</strong>.&nbsp; I remember thinking at the time, it wasn't all that bad, but I had no idea what was just around the corner.&nbsp; Over the next few months my walking <strong>deteriorated </strong>so much that I ended up in a <strong>wheelchair</strong>, the pain and discomfort enveloped every inch of my life, I couldn't believe it.&nbsp; Slowly over the year I have fought back and now walk with a <strong>walker</strong>, I have gone back to work and every day reclaim some of my life.&nbsp; None of this would have been possible without the <strong>love </strong>and <strong>support </strong>I have received from my partner, family, friends, colleagues and those from <strong>Shift.ms</strong>.</p> <p>I had the crazy thought of completing a <strong>half marathon</strong> to <strong>prove </strong>to myself that even with Multiple Sclerosis I can still do anything I put my mind to.&nbsp; <strong>Luckily </strong>for me I have <strong>fantastic </strong>friends, family, colleagues and my partner Matt who have agreed to come on this <strong>adventure </strong>with me and help raise money for the charity that has made such a difference to my life in the past year.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Matt and I</strong> have agreed to do <strong>one</strong> fund raising page as he will be walking with me and even if I can not complete the whole race this year I <strong>promise</strong> to return every year until I do.&nbsp; Matt could otherwise complete the race so it only fair that we should raise money together as he is doing it to support me.</p> <p>Please <strong>donoate </strong>anything you can an help <strong>shift.ms</strong> grow and develop, it is helping people everyday and changing peoples lives.</p> <p>To&nbsp; read more about this experience please visit -</p> <p>www.memyselfandms.com</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
