Alongside some colleagues from the Microbiology department I am running the OX5 run in support of Oxford Hospital Charity, who support the hospital providing equipment, research and facilities.

Our department has benefited from the charity who helped us obtain a Biofire machine which can diagnose meningitis in one hour compared to traditional methods taking a couple of days.
