Great South Run 2017 · 22 October 2017 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Hey guys!

As you may already know, our great friend Tom Harris has suffered very serious head injuries from a fall whilst on holiday. He is currently in an induced coma in Slovenia recovering from his injuries. Tom was due to run this race to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust who were incredibly supportive to his childhood friend Sam who very sadly past away last year. This charity continues to make a huge positive difference to the lives of young people diagnosed with cancer.

Myself and many of Toms friends are running this race for him (thank you Tom for choosing a 10 miler....) so would appreciate any support at all. The money raised on my Just Giving page will go to Teenage cancer trust but many of the others running the race are donating to  Headway- the brain injury association society and also to the ward in Slovenia who are helping him recover.

Thanks in advance <3

Jessy xx
