I am the founder of JC Metalworks. I am participating in the London Marathon 2023 and will be raising money for Rainbows.
I have always enjoyed being physically active and my passion for running has led me to participate in a number of marathons and half-marathons in the past. But, I have never attempted the London Marathon before, and this year I have set myself a personal aim of completing the route in under 6 hours.
I am moved by the very inspirational work that Rainbows does and the amazing influence that the organisation has made on so many people's lives.
The Rainbows performs exceptionally well in offering a glimmer of hope to families experiencing such overwhelming circumstances. They offer assistance and care to children and teenagers who have terminal illnesses as well as to their families. They provide a number of services, including support for grief, end-of-life care, and respite care.
