London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers advanced pre-hospital care to critically injured people in London. Your donation will help us save more lives by keeping our helicopter in the air and our rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well it`s just over a week to the big day and I`ve peaked with a run from Palmers Green to Wembley stadium.

A little about myself for those who are less than intimate.

I`m 58 with a predaliction for red wine and Marlboro Reds.

My last half marathon was about 25 years ago and I didn`t win.

So this is my swansong.

I`m doing this because I said I would when I was drunk.

This is my chance to be heroic and feel lycra on my thighs.

Let`s hope my efforts inspire the LB community and detract from the accident of my birth being in the same county as Jimmy Savile.

Thanks to all who have donated so far,  there is plenty of room for more :)   See you all on Sunday 28th xx
